Biker Bar Easy Installation Instructions
Mounting Biker Bar clamp to motorcycle
A. Remove Hex clamp screws from clamps.
B. Start on the side of your motorcycle the brake is on.
Measure 7 1/8" – 7 1/2" from cross member under transmission.
C. Open the rubber clamp holding cables to the frame.
D. Place the top of the Biker Bar clamp (rounded side) with four holes on inside of the frame and
work it around until it is on top of the frame, and under the cables.
E. Attach the bottom piece under frame and insert Hex bolts. Tighten to
where the Hex bolts are flush with the bottom of Biker Bar clamp, but not
fully tightened.
F. On the other side of motorcycle, measure frame 7 1/8" – 7 1/2"
from cross member under the transmission.
G. Place the top of the Biker Bar clamp (rounded side) with two holes on
inside of the frame and work it around until it is on top of the frame.
H. Attach the bottom piece under frame and insert Hex bolts. Tighten
to where the Hex bolts are flush with the bottom of Biker Bar clamp, but
not fully tightened.
I. Mark the location of each Biker Bar clamp with tape, incase they are moved by the next step.
J. Place the eyelet bracket under Biker Bar clamps and flush with the
bottom of clamps. This will level the clamps.
K. Remove eyelet bracket and tighten Hex bolts on Biker Bar clamps.
Clamps may remain on motorcycle.
Mounting Biker Bar Base Station
A. Determine the location of Biker Bar base station by placing motorcycle in trailer or by
taking measurements.
Once you have the correct positioning mark holes and drill holes,
using 1/2 inch drill bit.
B. Place Biker Bar base station on floor of trailer or truck and support bar under floor.
Attach using 2 1/2" grade 8 bolts lock washers and nuts.
Attaching motorcycle to Biker Bar when ready to transport
A. Attach eyelet bracket to Biker Bar clamps, and tighten. Drive motorcycle
onto base as straight as possible aligning base plate and motorcycle bracket eyeholes.
B. Insert bar through eyeholes. Secure the bar by placing a cotter pin or
padlock in hole at the end of bar.
Note:
Suggest driver remains on motorcycle while an assisting person slides bar through eyeholes
Unloading your motorcycle
A. Remove locking pin and slide bar back through eyeholes.
B. Back motorcycle off Biker Bar base.
C. Remove mounting bracket from motorcycle.
Warning: Always remove bracket from motorcycle before riding.
Helpful hints
* In the event the eyeholes do not line up perfectly, it means you are not straight on the base
station. This may be corrected by turning the motorcycle handlebars either right or left. By
doing this you are moving the eyeholes horizontally. To move the eyeholes vertically, lean
the motorcycle either to the left or right.
* If the bar is tight and won’t slide when trying to unload the motorcycle, it means you are not
straight on the base station. While your assistant pulls on the bar, turn the motorcycle handle
bars either right or left to move the eyeholes horizontally. To move the eyeholes vertically, lean
the motorcycle either to the left or right.
